 17:58:46  damian-london {public msg} In the first season, I appeared as the
Senator from Centuri Prime.  And it sook off from there.

 17:59:35  damian-london {public msg}

 17:59:38  B5fanatic13 {question presented} I've always noticed you are actually
a much better actor than many others on B5 Damian.  Where are you going in your career?

 18:00:00  damian-london {public msg} Wonderful question.

 18:00:09  damian-london {public msg} A complement will get you everywhere.

 18:01:01  damian-london {public msg} I have a rather long and involved career in
both tv and motion pictures

 18:01:19  damian-london {public msg}

 18:01:48  Reschell {question presented} If you hadn't been cast as a Centauri,
which other race would you have liked to have been?

 18:02:15  damian-london {public msg} easy.  I would have loved to have been
human.

 18:02:20  damian-london {public msg}

18:02:24  Koona {question presented} Hi Damian... The Regent is one of my
favorite characters on B5. What is it that attracted you to the role (other than it being
a paying job)?

18:03:45  damian-london {public msg} Truefully,
even though I have been in films and televsion for more years that I want to count.
The Regent is the best written part I think I have ever had.

 18:04:36  damian-london {public msg} I fthe series, had not come to its
conclusion, I could have been happy playing this character for a long long time to come.

 18:04:40  damian-london {public msg}

18:04:42  Deboss1 {question presented} Ivery much want to commend you in
being able to convey lovability and creepiness all at the same time.

18:05:23  Reschell {question presented} Are you one of the actors cast on B5
with lots of live stage experience?

 18:06:51  damian-london {public msg} I worked in the theatre in New York for a
number of years before I concentrated my career in film.  The last show  I did in the theatre

18:07:06  damian-london {public msg} was the original production of West Side
Story.

 18:07:15  damian-london {public msg}

18:07:18  Zack Allan {question presented} What motion pictures??????

18:08:17  damian-london {public msg} All my "old" films are very much
available on television and video tape .  I'll name a few..

 18:09:11  damian-london {public msg} "Twogether"     "Rollercoaster Rabbit"
"Star!"

18:09:42  damian-london {public msg} to just name three.  As you can see, I've
worked with such diverse actors

18:10:03  damian-london {public msg} as Julie Andrews,  to Roger Rabbit.

 18:10:12  damian-london {public msg}

18:10:14  jenn27 {question presented} Who did you play in West Side Story?

 18:10:54  damian-london {public msg} Gladhand.  That Is who I played.

18:11:06  Koona {question presented} How did you come up with the Regent’s
voice and mode of speaking? I thought it was fantastic and made the character so believable.
Was it a conscious choice or did it “sort of happen”?

 18:11:38  damian-london {public msg} It was a conscious choice.

 18:12:45  damian-london {public msg} I think characters are people all of them
just like all of us, have our own voices and idiosyncrasies

 18:12:58  damian-london {public msg}

18:12:59  amg144 {question presented} How did it feel to have to change your
character so dramatically?

18:14:05  damian-london {public msg} He didn't change, just as in life, we all
change with circumstance.  His life changed him.

18:14:23  Mr. Morden {question presented} Thanks for coming in Mr. London,
I would like you to know, I think you do a great job on B5..your performances in season 5 were
absolutely fantastic...but, given the chance, would you like to do another, different character on
Crusade?

 18:15:53  damian-london {public msg} I thought you would never ask.  I pray
every night before I go to bed that the Gods who cast the show will call.

18:15:55  jenn27 {question presented} Is it fun playing a character who is so
nuts?

 18:16:23  damian-london {public msg} Speaking now, as the regent.

 18:16:46  damian-london {public msg} "I dont' think I'm nuts."

18:16:53  Reschell {question presented} Is there a particular Regent scene of
which you are most proud?

18:18:24  damian-london {public msg} Yes, one from "Movements of Fire and
Shadow (#518)

18:18:31  Koona {question presented} When you first took the part were you
aware of the fact that your character would become so important over time?

18:18:39  damian-london {action} BTW it will be on in October.

 18:18:49  damian-london {public msg} No.

18:18:51  jenn27 {question presented} Is it fun to be so outlandish?

 18:20:25  damian-london {public msg} I will answer this one as Damian London.
If you knew me personally, you would think the Regent wasn't outlandish at all.

18:20:32  JoanDarc {question presented} Welcome Damian, & thanx for joining
us tonite! :) Working with such an awesome cast no doubt leads to some serious hijinx on the set
(blooper wise)..Can you tell us what blooper comes to mind that is perhaps your favorite? What is was and who did it? :-))

 18:21:25  damian-london {public msg} There never was a blooper on the set
when I was there.

 18:21:34  damian-london {public msg} however,

 18:21:59  damian-london {public msg} Londo and I would make up some jokes
to pull and never got around to them.

18:22:09  ShadowHawk {question presented} do ya like the crazy Centarian
Hair style?

 18:22:48  damian-london {public msg} I guess you don't know what I really
look like.

 18:23:36  damian-london {public msg} I have worn so many different wigs in
my career that they all begin to feel  like one big joke.

18:23:44  B5fanatic13 {question presented} Would you have liked the regent to
play a larger role or are you content as you are now?

 18:24:15  damian-london {public msg} It was what it was.

18:24:22  Koona {question presented} What’s it like to work with Peter Jurasik?

 18:26:04  damian-london {public msg} Wonderful. he's a sort of combination of
Roger Rabbit and Bob Hope whom I used to work for.

18:26:12  Zack Allan {question presented} you are a great actor

 18:26:18  damian-london {public msg} thanks

 18:26:27  amg144 {question presented} Do you like working with JMS + the
other characters on the show?

 18:26:35  damian-london {public msg} that's lovely

 18:26:59  damian-london {public msg} I didn't know JMS was a character on the
show

 18:27:09  damian-london {public msg} Isn't he all the characters.

 18:27:25  damian-london {action} Moderator crashed

 18:28:12  damian-london {public msg} What can I say about the other characters

 18:28:51  damian-london {public msg} all those I worked with happened to be
wonderful actors.

 18:29:06  damian-london {public msg} every working day on this show was a
pleasure.

18:30:34  damian-london {action} Nancy's getting back  on line.  the next
question was something about  shows Damian has been on.

 18:30:44  damian-london {public msg} ok.

18:31:24  damian-london {public msg} some television programs.  of recent were
"Seinfeld"  "Ellen"

 18:31:37  damian-london {public msg} as far as television movies.

 18:32:26  damian-london {public msg} I can be seen in  "Harold Robbins' the
Dream Merchants" and

 18:32:43  damian-london {public msg} "A Touch of Scandal"

 18:33:18  damian-london {action} Nancy's almost back

 18:33:37  damian-london {public msg} I think that's enough credits for now.

 18:33:49  damian-london {public msg} Unless you want more.

18:33:52  Psilady {question presented} Damian, with such well written,
believable characters, do you get caught up with the story? Were you ready to stab Cartegia
yourself?

 18:34:51  damian-london {public msg} I'll say this about Cartagia.  I'd have been
happy to have killed him my self.

18:34:53  Koona {question presented} Did you have any specific role models
that you used for creating the character of the Regent?

18:36:46  damian-london {public msg} He was easy to create as the very first
time, in t he first season, I saw myself inthe mirror with makeup and wig.  He  answered all the
questions about himself to me right then and there.

18:36:50  Reschell {question presented} Did you create a backstory for the
Regent?

 18:37:40  damian-london {public msg} I know all his secrets.  You shouldn't be
asking.

18:37:43  Reschell {question presented} What sort of director do you find most
satisfying to work with?

 18:38:10  damian-london {public msg} ok.  Here's a really long answer.

 18:39:19  damian-london {public msg} I have worked with such diverse people
as Gene Kelly,  Robert Wise,  Frank Marshall, and  John Ford.  However,

 18:40:09  damian-london {public msg} I really enjoyed working with JOhn C.
Flinn, III as much as any director I ever worked with.  He really  is a great  director.

18:40:50  damian-london {action} Nancy is changeing computers.  We have 15
more minutes to go.

 18:40:59  damian-london {public msg} Back to JF.

 18:41:32  damian-london {public msg} He directed two of the Babylon 5's I did.

18:42:06  damian-london {public msg} That is John Flinn. Not jOhn Ford,  Just
clarifying i t

18:42:52  damian-london {action} Question form Karen.  How idid you get your
start in acting.

 18:43:39  damian-london {public msg} I started acting when I was 11 years old,
in Radio.

 18:44:11  damian-london {public msg} I have been a professional actor all my
life and happily I can report I have never been out of work for very long.

18:44:14  Koona {question presented} Are you going to be at any conventions in
the near future?

 18:45:46  damian-london {public msg} I have not been booked for any
conventions vey.  However I have been approached to do a couple.  I would loveto meet some of
the B5 viewers.

 18:46:14  B5fanatic13 {question presented} Do you ever watch B5 for the pure
enjoyment of it?

 18:46:50  damian-london {public msg} yes.  However, I enjoy it more when I'm
on it.

18:46:55  Satai Callista {question presented} You worked with Gene Kelly!?
Wow! What was that like?

 18:47:28  damian-london {public msg} He directed "A Guide for the Married
Man"

 18:49:10  damian-london {public msg} that's a great movie very much available
on tape.  The film is  almost a game in the fact that every well known comic actor that was in
HOllywood when it was made in 1967 appeared  in roles ranging from  long parts to  small parts

 18:50:39  damian-london {public msg} I'll give you a hint.  the pictore has
everyone from Jack Benny to Lucille Ball to  Sid Caeser and the game you can blay while watching that film is  to see how many stars you can  detect.

18:50:48  Anwenn {question presented} what part did you have in A Guide..?

18:52:04  damian-london {public msg} from what I have just said see the film
and see if you can detect me 32 years younger.

18:52:10  B5fanatic13 {question presented} Do you have any notable career
goals?

18:53:14  damian-london {public msg} To keep working and to get the powers-
that-be of Crusade to bring me in as a brand new character.  (hint, hint)

18:53:20  Deboss1 {question presented} May we all join in a moment of silent
prayer for the casting Gods...?

18:53:55  damian-london {public msg} Bless you and remember YOu can never
have too many blessings.

18:53:59  Koona {question presented} Have you ever directed? If not, would
you like to?

 18:54:46  damian-london {public msg} I have directed a film in 1977.  I have  not
directed since.  Does that answer your question?

18:54:50  Anwenn {question presented} Why did you initially choose not to take
a screen credit in your first appearance as minister?

 18:56:11  damian-london {public msg} I'm a guest star screen credit on every
Babylon 5 I appeared on.  My name was always in the opening  credits.

18:56:15  B5fanatic13 {question presented} Why do you think the regent is so
darn lovable?

 18:57:01  damian-london {public msg} easy.  You've never met me, obviously.

18:57:39  damian-london {action} we're going to take a short break then we will
